God's Rainbow of Promises
Welcome to God's Rainbow of Promises!

"God promised me a rainbow. He promised one to you. A rainbow made of love, forgiveness through and through." Rekindle your hope and faith! The world can be a scary, depressing place...if we let it. Sometimes we need a gentle reminder that God is with us, loves us, and will guide us through the good times, and the bad. YOU are a beautiful creation!"- Blessings to you, Ellen M. DuBois

God's Rainbow of Promises

God's Promises, Healing, Feeling Overwhelmed

by Ellen DuBois on 07/08/15

"My God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19

God promises that we'll never be given more than we can handle. However, we can lose sight of that when things get overwhelming. When you're going through a painful experience, i.e., a divorce, the loss of someone you love, the loss of a dream, illness, etc., we often slip and forget that God will bring us through it. He'll help and heal us in different forms and ways. In his way and time.

I often need to remind myself of this.

One day, after feeling broken, may we come to realize we are still in one piece. We may not see it right away, but healing comes in many forms. God knows of our pain, even before we speak it. Healing can take place in body or in spirit.

"The all sufficient Physician of humanity, the Savior, heals both body and soul."- Clement of Alexandria

God's Promise:

For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to him.

Acts 2:39

"Oh Lord, I am afraid. Take hold on me: I am stronger than the sea.

Save, Lord, I perish. I have hold of thee.

I made and rule the sea,

I bring thee to the haven where though wouldst be." Christina Rossetti

5 Days Left To Reach Goal To Help Foster Kids

by Ellen DuBois on 06/03/15

Sweet Cases: Because foster kids don't deserve trashbags.

Hi. My name is Ellen DuBois and I'm asking for your help. Not for me- for foster kids.

Foster kids don't deserve trash bags. Sadly, that's what most of them have when they enter the foster system. I think they deserve more than that. They've been through so much in their young lives. I want to help make their lives easier.

I can- WE can- with the help of Together We Rise.

Any amount is greatly appreciated. $1, $5, $10, $15 and so on. $25 covers the cost of one Sweet Case for a foster child. Every donation adds up and helps!

If you're able, please sponsor a Sweet Case for $25.00.

What is a Sweet Case?

Each sweet case includes: a duffle bag, hygiene kit, blanket, coloring book, crayons, and a stuffed animal. This goes to a foster child.

When they arrive at their foster home, it's with a nice, new duffle bag instead of a trash bag.

They're foster KIDS. They deserve so much more.

I would like to surpass the minimum of 10 bags sponsored. I want to reach out and help as many foster kids as I can. But, I can't do it alone. If this speaks to your heart, (you'll know it if it does), please donate what you can.

Let's help some kids. Sweet Cases preserve their dignity and give them HOPE.

Thank you for your help. Please click here to learn more and/or to donate. All donations go directly to giving foster kids sweet cases through Together We Rise.
